Dayton sits where the Crow River meets the Mississippi in Hennepin County, about 14 miles north of our shop on Hamel Road. The same crews handle Ramsey, Rogers and Elk River next door. Our review records include 1 matched review from a Dayton customer, along with plenty from neighboring towns.
What do Dayton-area customers call us for? Their reviews mention fast, friendly visits, clear, upfront pricing and install work. One Dayton review singles out James and Matt for the work. A Maple Grove customer called out Bryan by name, and another praised him as a great installer.
Our freeze-thaw seasons take a toll, too: springs lose tension, weather seals crack and openers work harder in the cold. A yearly tune-up catches most of it early.
The opener strains and the door stops after a few inches, it slams shut or won’t stay up, or you can see a split in the spring on the bar above the door.
Don’t lift the door by hand or keep running the opener. A broken spring leaves the door dangerously heavy, so leave it closed and call us. We carry most common parts on the truck.
One side of the door hangs lower than the other, the door jerks or binds as it moves, or a cable has slipped off the drum at the top corner.
Cables are under high tension. Don’t touch or adjust them yourself, and keep people and cars clear of the door until it’s repaired.
The light comes on but nothing moves, the door stops and reverses for no reason, or the opener has become slow and noisy.
Check the remote batteries and that nothing blocks the safety sensors near the floor. If the opener strains or hums, a broken spring may be the real cause. Call (612) 472-2221 and we’ll get a Dayton tech out.
A complimentary yearly tune-up and safety check to keep your door running smoothly. No code needed. Just ask when you book.
